A simple and delicious breakfast that can be prepared the night before is our Orange Juice Oats. Perfect for a mason jar, these oats can be transportable and grabbed out the fridge before your rush out the door for another busy day. An alternative is enjoying them with a hot cup of tea on a Saturday morning!

Steve’s family love this recipe and has since become a household favourite!

Serves 3-4

Total Time 8-9 hours


2 cup’s of Rolled Oats
1 and 1/2 cup’s of Orange Juice
1 tsp vanilla essence
Additional: seeds, nuts, dried raspberries, blueberries, shredded coconut.


  1. Combine oats, orange juice and vanilla essence. Make sure the oats are completely covered with orange juice and stir the mixture.
  2. Let it sit in your fridge overnight or for 6-8 hours.
  3. Dress up your oats with seeds, nuts, berries, and coconut to give it texture and a little crunch.
